This is a general privacy policy for an educational website that has not yet launched. It should be reviewed by a qualified professional before the site goes live on a public domain.

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information Family Law in Ontario collects and how it's used. This site does not collect more information than necessary to operate its consultation-request form and interactive tools.

Information We Collect

If you submit the free-consultation request form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, the topic you select, and any message you write. This site does not otherwise collect personal information about visitors who don't submit a form.

How We Use It

Information submitted through the consultation form is used to connect you with a participating Ontario family lawyer, as requested. It is not sold, and it is not used for unrelated marketing.

Cookies and Tracking

This site does not currently set its own tracking cookies or run third-party analytics. Your hosting provider or browser may still generate standard technical logs common to any website. If analytics or tracking tools are added in the future, this policy will be updated to reflect that.

Third-Party Tools

The calculators and wizards under Tools are provided by a third party, Lexscale.ai, and load inside an embedded frame on this site. Using those tools is subject to Lexscale.ai's own privacy practices, which this site doesn't control.

Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information submitted through this site, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your Choices

You can choose not to submit the consultation form. If you've already submitted it and want your information removed, use the Contact page to request that.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as the site develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
